The northern hairy nosed wombat is located in only the Epping forests national park in eastern Australia. The northern hairy nosed wombat only lives in the harshest and driest environments. This fine specimen can only has a life span from the ages 10 to 20 years of age due to the main predators hunting them and having to fight over food this species are becoming endangered the longest living northern hairy nosed wombat that has ever lived is approximately 30 years of age. There are estimated to be 250 kinds of this species that are living today. But due to habitat endangerments which is predators that are hunting them the hairy nosed wombat population is not increasing but decreasing and this could also be from the cause of droughts.
