If you have an extensive wig collection, human hair or synthetic hair wigs, you should know how to care for them. Use these steps to properly care for and wash your different wigs.
Synthetic Wig Care
1. Before washing your wig, gently brush the wig with a wig brush. If your wig has tight curls, don’t brush but use your fingers to remove tangles.
2. Use wig shampoo that is specific to synthetic hair wigs. In a sing, mix 2 teaspoons of shampoo with cold water. Turn the wig inside out and submerge in the water and shampoo mixture. Let the wig soak for about 15 minutes.
3. Rinse the wig in cold water until all the shampoo is rinsed out.
4. Use about 2 teaspoons of conditioner on the wig and allow the conditioner to set for about 2 minutes.

8. Leave your clean wig on its stand and allow it to dry completely before brushing or combing. When dry, use a wig brush to the styling of your choice.
Human Hair Wig Care
