Hair-Makeup-Costumes

In Drama Productions, the last few months have been completely devoted to Maven. During these months I have spent a lot of time in Hair/Makeup/Costumes, where everyone is rushing around trying to get the costumes ready on time to meet our many deadlines. In Costumes I have learned a lot, I learned how to sew and by having that skill I am not able to help sew and hem different costume pieces. Throughout the last few months I have also learned how to really work in a groups. In Costume and during rehearsal, every aspect of this course involves co-operation. While in Costumes everyone is always giving there ideas and figuring out way to change a design or idea for the better. For example, when we were making the red scarves it was very difficult to figure out how we would tie them and not use a lot of fabric at the same time. I suggested that maybe we do not tie them and just pin them together. Later that idea was used and that is now how the scarves and going to be worn. Most of the time I am being told to be louder because I am a pretty quite person so it is not natural for me to talk loudly where for other it maybe. Nevertheless, I definitely need to work on staying on task during rehearsal. Most of my friends are in Drama Production so it can be a very distracting environment at times, but I have to work harder on concentrating on what I am doing and paying less attention to what else is happening around
