Although we do an exceptional job providing support, we are a growing company and at times we stretched thin on call center representatives. By utilizing volunteers, we can better serve clients with bigger issues, reduce the cost of bringing on more call center reps, and empower thought leaders to be a part of an industry leading organization. Similar to Verizon, we would setup a forum where hand selected professionals can answer frequently asked questions (FAQs) from our clients. Therefore, their work specialization would be answering FAQs. Our volunteers will be departmentalized by aligning them with questions asked from those within the same industry they work in. The volunteers will have a chance to do this from their homes, allowing them to answer questions after hours as well. Authority will come directly from our call center leadership team. Each volunteer’s responsibility is to answer each question honestly, ethically, and with integrity set forth by our mission and values. Questions that cannot be answered should be passed along to full-time call center representatives. Each leader will have no more than 4 volunteers reporting to them. Volunteers provide free labor and time, performing tasks for organizations helping them achieve goals. Companies are starting to take a look at how volunteers can help them achieve their missions and goals and so should we. Volunteers can help us cut cost and better serve our client’s needs.
