I have completed 4 weeks of works experience at Queens Road Academy, Barnsley. Throughout works experience I was rewarded greatly and learnt many valuable skills- these include the ability to be self-assured, patient and empathetic when dealing with young children in a learning environment. I also demonstrate very good interpersonal skills when working with children; including patience and the ability to keep calm and deal with stress efficiently. I also have good collaborative skills which enable me to work effectively and productively with a team. My HSLA qualification, enables me to plan fun and enticing practical classes in order to keep students of all ages engaged. This requires creativity and presentational skills which will become very important, as they will eventually allow me to plan interesting lessons which motivate students. I believe I would also be successful on this degree A-Level Psychology requires in depth study and background reading, in order to fully understand the way the mind works. I can apply this commitment to additional reading and in depth evaluation, throughout this degree in order to succeed.
