Great post! I personally believe that young females between the ages of 9 -26 years old should receive the human papillomavirus vaccine. According to the Center for Disease Control (2013) the prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) infections in girls and women before and after the introduction of the HPV vaccine shows a significant reduction in vaccine-type HPV in United States teenagers. Therefore, I think that it is important to educated family members and patient in the importance of the HPV vaccine. I believe with the education of the benefits of the vaccine we can eliminate or decrease the incident of condylomata acuminate, respiratory papillomatosis, and certain cancers associated with the HPV.
