HMA Residency Statement

Improved Essays
I wanted to re-introduce myself especially with the HMA retreat approaching. I’m Wilkister Tangazi, a research assistant from the Columbus Office and I just completed my first year of a Master’s in Health Administration degree from Ohio State University. The summer between the first and second year of the program is usually spent in a hospital setting working on projects as part of an administrative residency. However, I have decided to stay on at HMA because I want to gain experience working within the role of a healthcare consultant.

Currently, I am working with Alicia Smith to identify a couple of billable projects to work on this Summer (May – August). I am interested in projects related to healthcare delivery development and design.

Kyle’s professionalism and confidence led him to be a favorite among several patients; he was able to diagnose with confidence; and was able to communicate with the patients in a way that they would be able to understand. Kyle was always an advocate for MCPHS and as I continued to work with him I was able to see, not only his passion, but the knowledge he gleaned from his time at MCPHS.
