1. I was having a hard time on how am I going to apply the SDLC phases to my topic, which is about patient privacy. I know that it is important to use SDLC phase when acquiring a new health information system, but I am not sure how am I going to apply the SDLC phase when developing security policies.
2. Creating a SMART and Meaningful objectives was not easy. It needs careful analysis. I need to make sure that the objective is in line with my goals, attainable, and measurable. The obstacle I face while thinking of a SMART and Meaningful objective was the “time-bound” or the time frame. When will my objective be achieved?

Because I don’t have any experience working in the hospital, I was not really familiar about the different types of clinical and administrative information systems used in health care. I am only familiar about EHR and EMR since it was always mentioned in my previous classes. So, the most important I’ve discovered about healthcare information systems are its different types. Although I’ve heard about Personal Health Records, Computerized Provider Order Entry, and Telehealth and Telemedicine but I only have little idea how these type of health information systems work and its importance in providing high quality medical care. Most CPOE systems provide physicians with decision support capabilities at the point of ordering (wager, Lee, & Glaser, 2013, p. 148).
