My Passion
I don’t have a reason for doing gymnastics other than it’s simply my passion, it’s what I was born to do. Like any relationship, the sport and I have lots of love and hate. Even through all the pain, nothing compares to the feeling it gives me. I feel victorious, bliss, anger, control, and aggression all in one. When I’m soaring through the air for nearly two seconds and finally have the courage to open my eyes, time stops and I start to soar. Sadly, it all ends once I hit the ground and my coach tells me the tiny mistakes with the incredible artistry. That is why I love gymnastics, the exhilaration enlightens me.
