Guy Montag, is a very confused man that just needs to figure out what and who to believe in. He wanders throughout his own world, and gets mixed emotions about the people and things around him. It all starts when he meets Clarisse McClellan, and she asks him about his job. They This causes him to think about his previous actions and how they have hurt the people, environment, and almost everything around him. She talks to him for a while, and the more and more she lets out the he consumes and takes in. After he talks to her each night for a couple of days he thinks to himself that she is different from the rest.
