In Ray Bradbury’s story, Fahrenheit 451, Guy Montag is a 30 year old fireman in the 24th century. This story has a dreadful setting and many people like Guy Montag are unhappy. The story is set in the late future so the firemen burn things such as books instead of putting them out because they are not legal in this city. Over the course of the book Guy Montag meets a lot of people. Some friends and some not. He meets a young girl named Clarisse who changes guy for the better. Guy isn't sure how happy he is with his life and doesn’t care about much in his life, Clarice changes that. In my eyes the moral of the story is that you should take different views on things and believe that truth and reality can change and to always do what makes you happy. …show more content…
Guy montag believes that he is very happy with everything in his life. He’s one of the best firefighters and doesn’t read books. For the most part he lives on the safe side and doesn’t do anything illegal or take risks. He meets a strange girl named Clarisse who starts to change him for the better. Clarisse makes a giant impact on Guy's life and his future as a fireman. If guy hadn't have met clarisse he would not have been able to fully understand and would have led his whole life wondering what was wrong with him and how to make himself
