People are dying all around the U.S. Guns have become an obsession with most people around the U.S. People are committing homicides and suicides almost every day. If we want people to stop dying from guns, then we need to ban guns. First, guns are constantly being shot at other people. In 2015, a reporter named Allison was brutally shot along with her cameraman Adam during a live interview (Donohue). People like these reporters are dying because of their job and what they say about where they are at doing a report. During the June of 2014, there was a school shooting in Charleston, and that caused Charleston to ban high caliber ammunition rounds. Terrorists are also causing trouble with guns in many different states. 90% of the NRA and Americans want to have universal background checks done if someone applies for any type of job (Donohue). If we do that then we can find out if we want that person to work for us or not so we could advancements in our country. The NRA has control over all the guns that are made in the U.S so they could just stop making guns if a law is passed for banning guns as constitutional (Donohue). Now some may say that guns are used as self defence weapons. Self defence law number states that a person is entitled to use a gun if necessary (Baldwin). Using a gun to defend yourself can help you from being mugged in a city or alleyway. From the U.S. constitution it says that we have the right to bear arms. Most people mix up the fact that guns are for protecting themselves and not for killing others if threatened. You can also get your right to bear arms right taken away from you if it has a probable cause to back it
