We use them for self defence to protect ourselves and family members, the protection of the people’s rights to the second amendment, and hunting for those who have no other source of food. These are only three of the hundreds of uses for firearms. It is not illogical to assume that a majority of people who read this own a firearm, and will take some offence to gun control laws, but we can still fight back. However, it is reasonable to infer you own a firearm for one of the three aforementioned reasons, in that event, how would you feel if the government infringed your rights in order to punish a single group of people whom you have no direct connection with whatsoever? One would be greatly offended, and feel prompt to rebel. Gun control is no answer to crime.
