Over the past couple of decades, the state and city governments have passed a bevy of gun laws in a thinly veiled attempt to red-tape America’s most popular rifle out of existence. While the politicians sure have made it a royal pain in the neck to bring the wiz-bang semi-auto into compliance, they have not ceased the sale of the firearms. Enterprising firearms manufactures were quick to answer the call to produce AR-style rifles that could be legally sold, purchased and owned in the less enlightened corners of the country. Dark Storm Industries was at the vanguard of this niche, churning out compliant versions of Eugene Stoner’s brainchild.…

These shooters do this to hide something, “get even” with others, try and support themselves, or ovoid jail. Of course, this is never the way to go. The only reason to use a gun is to hunt, but even hunting isn’t the right choice sometimes because some hunters shoot and kill endangered animals every day.…

Guns are used all around the world, but here in the United States, we need to keep our gun usage limited with gun laws. Gun laws are put into action to make sure firearms are used responsibly; however, people will always find a way to break these laws no matter how many are made. Our Second Amendment, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed”, gives U.S. citizens the right to own a weapon and use it for the right reasons. Gun laws will not reduce the amount of gun deaths in the U.S. because gun laws do not determine crime; gun ownership determines crime numbers. There were 460,000 gun deaths in the U.S. between 1999-2013 and this was the 12th leading cause of death.…

By definition, this includes the AR-15 rifle. The AR-15 is a semi-automatic rifle platform, originally intended to shoot the .223 or .556 NATO cartridge, containing a bullet that is smaller in diameter than that of the average pistol bullet. It is similar to common fully automatic rifles found in the military. However some people do not understand that this “assault rifle” can only shoot one round per trigger pull, similar to most pistols. This rifle is one of the most common guns on the range and is one of the least popular guns used in homicides, according to the FBI’s database.…
