The best way to start preventing firearm attacks is to understand its effects on people already. Knowing the seriousness will show just how much the firearm system has to change. From a survey of the U.S. department of Justice, in 2008 alone 10,886 od 16272 murders (67%) where committed with firearms. Another of their studies show that 83% of Americans will be victim of a complete violent crime in their lives. This just proves that almost all Americans are at risk of being attacked, robbed, ext., mostly due to firearm accessibility. These numbers might not hold meaning now, but they will once something goes wrong on your end of the argument.

The only way to achieve this is to change things within the upper government. Interviews with John Paul Stevens shows that he plans to Change the wording of the second amendment to make firearm restrictions easier to in force. Stevens also "offers a half-dozen stimulating ideas for altering and to gain more trust from many views he hasn't disguised an "agenda" of gain on the matter to make it easier to regulate safe firearm ownerships.
