Every time there is another tragedy, congress calls for measures to be proposed so the gun violence stops. I agree will their calls, however repealing the PLCAA is not the best solution. For example, in 2005 when congress was voting on the PLCAA bill, Bernie Sanders voted for it to become a law. Last year Sanders defended his support for the law during an October interview with NBC News's Chuck Todd. “If you were a gun shop owner in Vermont, and you sell somebody a gun, and that person flips out and then kills somebody, I don't think it's really fair to hold the [gun shop owner] responsible.” Furthermore, more sensible law could be made instead.
