The statistical method was used to document the complexity of risk engagement and provide a more wide-ranging view of the behavioral influences associated with gun possession among adolescence. The goals of the study were to use data driven analytics to represent the connection between behavioral risk factors, to study the link between gun possession and other risk behaviors over a 10 year period (2001-2011), and to show the implications of the results to help shape gun violence prevention (Ruggles & Rajan, 2014). The study also concluded that riding with a drunk driver and being offered drugs at school clustered with weapon possession and engagement in physical violence behaviors. The study went on to state that youth who reported on surveys that they had carried a gun within the past 30 days also had strong association with tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs (Ruggles & Rajan, 2014). The results of the study might not be all that surprising to some individuals but its shows that the issues are complex and need to be addressed in
