If you want to be a good hunter, you must have the proper gear to do the job. The first and most important items are a firearm and ammunition. The type of gun you will need would be a rifle, shotgun, or a handgun, if you are hunting small game.
Some of the best types of rifles are a savage model 99dl or a Winchester 94. A good shot gun would be either a Browning, Beretta, or a Winchester. The reason I recommend this gun is because it is a revolver and it holds six rounds at a time. This allows you to get shot of very quick at small game such as snakes. This gun is a .22 centerfire. This means that the bullet fires by being struck by the firing pin the the middle of the back. It is very good to carry on your person because, if a predator is attacking, you can shoot is before it has the chance.

It’s been a tough go for AR fans in such far-flung locals as New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C. and California. Over the past couple of decades, the state and city governments have passed a bevy of gun laws in a thinly veiled attempt to red-tape America’s most popular rifle out of existence. While the politicians sure have made it a royal pain in the neck to bring the wiz-bang semi-auto into compliance, they have not ceased the sale of the firearms. Enterprising firearms manufactures were quick to answer the call to produce AR-style rifles that could be legally sold, purchased and owned in the less enlightened corners of the country. Dark Storm Industries was at the vanguard of this niche, churning out compliant versions of Eugene Stoner’s brainchild.…

The times that I spent shooting with my dad are some of my fondest memories. From an early age, he taught me how to properly respect firearms, operate them with emphasis on safety, and how to hunt efficiently with them. He taught me these things by letting me shoot and hunt with two very diverse cartridges: the .22lr and the .30/06 Springfield. Although, these cartridges may be the some of the most popular rounds in the country, they differ distinctly in their hunting applications, long-range ability, and produced recoil.…
