Most of the suicide victims that use guns in the United States are Caucasians than African Americans. It is because we have more guns in the United States than any other countries such as Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Ireland, Australia, Denmark, and the Netherlands. Consequently, European gun laws are very different from America because every country has different cultures. For example, in Switzerland half of their population owns guns because their laws are considering not sufficiently strict. Lithuania and Romania few citizens own guns because those countries were occupied by the Soviet Union and they had extremely strict gun laws at the time. According to a survey the European Union (EU), there are sixteen gun owners per every 100 people. And in order to be part of the EU, countries must obey the following guidelines:
