Gun Control

Gun control is used all around the world but it is used the most in America. American citizens own about 270 million of the world’s 875 million firearms. The reason why Americans own so many guns is because the second amendment gives them the right to bear arms. But this amendment interprets is so unclear to certain people where they will use it to argue for lenient gun laws. Gun control is one of the big topics in American politics on whether or not to adjust the laws, and I agree with creating more gun laws to keep everyone safe. Silva 2

Gun laws is what’s keeping us safe as of right now without them then everyone throughout the nation will have guns and use them when they want. What most people don’t realize of how many people get hurt because of the use of these weapons. On a average more then 100,000 people are shot and either become injured or die. The use of guns should not be allowed to be used by mentally unstable people, or even young adults. It would be best if we didn’t have it all. By doing this everyone would be on equal grounds and wouldn’t have to worry about being mugged or robbed by criminals. By keeping guns out we can decrease crime rate and keep more people alive then having them killed. In some cases there has been school shootings, drive by, and even mass shootings in very populated areas.

He was charged with first-degree murder and this proves to show that there’s no control over the use of guns with anyone. Morton sent a picture to other people on how they thought killing another person is okay and

Executing this will show where there all at and be able to inform the people if criminals are living near them. As John F. Kennedy say’s “Change is the law of life”, its saying we time for us to change laws that will make it impossible for anyone with a mental illness, or if anyone who comes out of prison to purchase a weapon. Guns are killing machines and do not help society at all, the only thing that it does is bring pain to other families and ruin the life of they took. We need a law that will limit guns from being used from everyone so that way no problems would happen between anyone. This will help limit the riots or angry mobs from everywhere like for instance the Ferguson incident if the officer didn’t have a gun then that whole town wouldn’t have made such a big riot and caused so many problems with the military and police. This lasted for a really long time all because one man was scared and worried and shot a African American teen and after that he had the whole town against him and wanted revenge and some wanted to do the same to what he did to that teen. But luckily he was trailed and that prevented him from

There are groups that share their views either for or against, like the NRA, National Rifle Association, which supports concealed weapons and the Brady Bill, which is against concealed weapons. At the end of the day there are just two groups, one for concealed carry and the ones against it. These two groups have the same goal, to keep people safe, but each have a certain ideas on how to make that happen.…

Being able to brandish a weapon to show the, would be assailant, that all individuals aren’t helpless, and in turn will prevent the crime to turn into a statistic (James Q. Wilson). People should keep in mind the assumptions of what Gun control can bring. The first assumption is that most hand guns are stolen, borrowed, or obtained through personal transactions. It is a strong possibility that guns that were used in the progress of a crime could be true, but the only statistics that can stem from that is those who were caught with the gun, and by where they said it was obtained from.…

One of the most controversial Amendments today is the ‘Right to Bear Arms.’ As I get older, I see life a lot more differently and how the Amendments can either be used in our favor as Americans or hurt us. Ratified December 15, 1791, the first 10 amendments form the Bill of Right. It is a well regulated Militia; being necessary to the security of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.…

There are many political debates about gun control and there is not really an answer on how much gun control is actually needed in our country. Gun control has been a problem for many years and has technically two sides of the argument, there are the people that support gun control and there are the people that support the rights to own a gun. In today 's society there are many gun control laws, but people do not think its enough. A weapon is not some kind of toy that everyone should have, it 's a weapon that is used to cause harm and by enabling everyone to have one would cause fear in the community and would be the start of many conflicts as well. There are many headlines that people cannot believe.…

In recent years, a lot of debate had been going on about the laws pertaining to firearms. Unfortunately, with all of the mass shootings and killings being reported by the media, guns are given a bad reputation. Sadly, many people believe that they should be illegal because they are dangerous and can kill people, but what these people don’t realize is making them illegal will do a lot more harm than good. Guns have created a balance in society and if we were to take them away it could cause a lot of chaos which would result in more crime and more casualties. People deserve the right to bear arms because with proper training one could possibly save his/her life and also protect others.…
