President Obama, voice their concerns over gun registration and call for tighter gun control. They argue that the current gun regulation is responsible for many recent cases of extreme violence. On the other hand, people who are in favour of the Second Amendment believe that regular citizens should be allowed to own weapons to better defend themselves. After carefully considering both sides, gun control regulations need to be tightened and the usage of weapons outside of law enforcement should be severely limited.

It is true that some crimes are nearly impossible to prevent, with or without gun control. Crimes that are driven by deep hatred would not be hindered by any regulations. Nevertheless, there are several types of crimes that can be influenced or potentially discouraged by tight gun control laws. Many young and sometimes teenage criminals use weapons they find in their homes, often from their parents. Under strictly enforced gun control regulations, they would find it difficult to get hold of assault weaponry and some of them might back out of the criminal act altogether. Even if some of them do manage to carry out the final act, the damages would most likely be limited, compared to damages dealt by automatic weapons. In other words, loose gun registrations may not create crime, but they certainly invite violence.
In conclusion, tighter gun control will go a long way to prevent extreme violence. More evidence needs to be found and more research needs to be done to determine the best way to tackle and prevent crime. However, some actions need to be taken now and gun control is a good place to
