Gun control is a very big topic in the United States. Many people are for gun control and many people are against it. The government monitors the guns sold in the United States and people believe that they shouldn’t. I am in the neutral position on this topic. Citizens of the United States have the right to carry a weapon on them. People already own licenses to carry weapons out in public, or a concealed weapon license. The main reason why I think the government shouldn’t control the weapons in the USA is because; Guns are a part of American history. This country was built around wars and guns. Civilians had to own weapons to protect themselves in the 1700’s because; at the time there was no such thing as the USA with a working government
