Definition of topic being argued- Gun control (or firearms regulation) is the set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms by civilians. The definition of the argument is should guns be banned from every American citizen or just stricter laws and still have our right to the second amendment?

In 1971 the second amendment has adopted and it states “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” In the 2000s guns were protected by many laws Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act and Child Safety Lock Act of 2005, The National Instant Criminal Background Check System Improvement Amendments Act, and many others. The most common state gun control laws include background checks, waiting periods, and registration requirements to purchase and sell guns. Some states ban assault weapons. Since 1364 when the first gun came around it has been a way to protect our own lives, families, and property. It feeds ours families by using a firearm to hunt for food. Hunting has become a popular sport for hundreds of years all over the world. Nearly 50,000 people apply and receive a hunting license each year. A poll was run in 2006 showing that nearly 80% of Americans support hunting. There are many addition laws that go with hunting, for example tags, poaching, spotlighting, and which gun you can use in that certain season of hunting. Hunting create a huge financial impact in the United States, in 2001 over 13 million hunters averaged 18 days and spent nearly $20.5 billion on this
