Guns. They kill people, which is why humans (and not lizard men, as we do not tolerate those in America) believe that we should regulate firearms in the good old U.S. OF A! *que fireworks, George Washington riding a bald eagle, people measuring using feet instead of meters, and the national anthem playing. America isn’t known for its tea, or its biscuits, or funny accents. No instead American is famous for being fat and using lots o’ guns. So, how accurate is the claim that guns should be regulated, or should we keep our insanely lax gun laws, and will I put on some pants? Let’s find out!

America’s gun laws are famously lax, just like south Carolinas fireworks laws*. Most states have little regulation besides a background check to keep crazy people from shooting crowds up. America has more than triple the amount of shootings than any other country in the world, and unfortunately, that also means we have a higher kill count. Lots of people with family’s (and who also may be gun owners themselves) are killed in shootings. This sad fact is why we do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about gun laws.

Guns. They cool. I once threw a cup at somebody and yelled they got mugged, but, and this is a huge BUTT, guns are slightly* better than a thrown McDonalds cup. Guns are famously not very regulated here in the U.S. The New* Las Vegas shooting brought up concerns of gun control for the first time since we heard Hillary Clinton was running for president. The man who orchestrated the shooting had several automatic weapons, lots of ammunition, and a BUMP STOCK! If you don’t know what a BUMP STOCK! is, it is a part you put on a semiautomatic firearm and makes it fire like a full auto. Congress is currently in the works of banning BUMP STOCKS!, but more regulations may be needed to prevent other mass

The dead tell better stories then the living. For instance, if anyone had survived from inside the WTC, perhaps everyone would know that it wasn’t a controlled demolition. When the average man is sitting on his couch and accidentally flips the channel to the news and sees that thousands died in a bombing overseas, he might experience a brief moment of concern for those that lost their lives and those who lost loved ones in the bombing, but he will soon accept it as a fact of life and the thought of the families ripped apart by the bombing is…

The United States authorities do not keep up with regular folks allowed to have, gain, convey, offer or exchange a gun or ammo. Great Britain has probably the most stringent gun control laws on the planet. Handguns are disallowed weapons and require special permission. Self-defense, self-protection or a simple wish to possess a weapon is not viewed a valid or justifiable reason to have certain weapons. The United States has the most elevated firearm related wrongdoing rate in comparison to other nations such as the United…

Omar Mateen, Dylann Roof, John Houser, Syed Rizwan Farook, Christopher Harper-Mercer and Aaron Alexis are just a few names of mass murderers who obtained guns legally in the United States. The Virginia Tech massacre sparked the idea of gun control. It has been a controversial issue in American politics ever since, yet Congress refuses to strengthen restrictive gun control laws. Although background checks have prevented 2.8 million gun sales to unqualified purchasers since the enactment of the Brady Bill in 1994, guns still sneak their ways into the hands of the deranged. Each year in the United States, the number of people killed by guns increases, with nearly 13,000 killed in 2015 alone.…

The United States of America is no stranger to tragedies. Whether it be the Columbine High School Massacre or the shooting at Virginia Tech, America has been plagued by terrorism and the murder of many civilians. Although often thought to be unstoppable, I have constructed a plan to end the reign of terror. By instating strict gun control, intensive outpatient therapy for military veterans, and allocating money for more intense security in public spaces, the United States government can efficiently protect the citizens from the atrocities that have plagued the country in the past.…

Every time there is a mass shooting some people call the NRA and tell them there needs to be an increase in regulation for these guns so they can stop gun violence but what they don't understand is that guns have been around for so long that mostly everyone already owns a gun and once someone owns a gun you can't take it from them. If they completely banned guns I feel that would be much more dangerous as there will still be a black market for guns just like anything else that's illegal. Banning guns completely is a terrible idea because now if a robber gets his hands on a gun from the black market he can hold up any store around and what is the store owner going to do? All he will be able to do is call the police and hope he doesn't get shot. This is why I feel we should never ban guns completely because by doing that you really make everyone more likely to be hurt via a…
