How have liberal gun laws affected the death toll/crime rate in America. The reason I chose this topic is because of my interest in weapons and law/politics also this is something that is very important in our times because of the amounts of gun deaths across all the world, especially in the United States Of America. That has changed a lot because of murder, suicide, homicide, mass murder etc. A gun is a weapon that fires small bullets propelled by explosive force (gunpowder).…

When creating a social movement, it is important to take into account what the movement will be advocating for. After taking into consideration many different social issues within our society, I decided to create a social movement involving the issue of gun ownership. However, this social movement will focus on a wide variety of issues related to gun control. In my opinion, guns seem to be linked to many different issues within our society. Based on data published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevent (CDC) in 2013 there were over 33,000 deaths by firearms, with the majority of these deaths coming from civilian use. That accounts for more than 17% of all documented injury deaths within the United States. I believe that guns are becoming too heavily relied on as a form of protection. With so much speculation in the media of how much crime takes place today, it seems to me as if civilians are turning to firearms as a means of security. For instance, based on Gallup’s poll on the percentage of U.S. gun owning households there has been a spike of 6% from 2011 to current day.…

Gun Control Why are guns killing innocent people? Guns should be used for safety only. My first argument point is someone can break into your house. A 12 year old boy in Houston Texas helped police capture these robbers who broke into his home while he was home alone. With more and more school shootings and public massacres happening everyday, the overall concern of gun control in the United States of America has become one of the most politicized topics over the past year. With elections coming up in the next year, there is no better time to address these current problems and ways to go about creating change for a better and safer society. It is clear there are two sides to this gun control issue and there needs to be a solution that will please both sides as well as create a nation where we can all stand together behind a constitution and bill of rights that has gotten us so far to where we are today. Through the implementation of stricter gun control in the areas of background checks as well as more regulation in the distribution of assault rifles, these tragedies can be brought to a minimum and we can let our youth go to school and live life without the fear of being scarred for the rest of their lives.…
