“Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” This is a big quote that many people believe and so should you. When a drunk driver kills someone nobody blames the alcohol they blame the human for drinking it then driving. But why is it that when someone kills somebody they blame the gun, not the person behind it. All of this results into people wanting more gun control laws. If anything we should have less laws and I will be explaining to you how guns would make us a much safer country and have everyone at ease.
A big, big topic in the world is school shootings, it is in the news at least once a month now. There have been 142 school shootings since 2013. When the government tries to take us over, just like in nazi germany 1940 what would we have to defend ourselves with? Nothing, they would just take us over. We need guns to protect ourselves from our enemies and intruders or anyone that is harassing us. I feel that if every U.S citizen had automatic rifles or pistols we would be a much safer country. If someone tried to rob a bank full of customers with there gun how would they win or hurt anyone when there will be 20 more pointed right at them. Our second amendment tells us that we are allowed to carry and own our own weapons. “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” (Fathers, Founding).
