There are many other solutions, real, actually solutions that can reduce school shooting is all about early intervention. “ Kids who bring weapons to school are more likely to report being bullied or threatened themselves. They may be fearful of gang violence and feel a need to protect themselves on the way back and forth to school… the kids who bring weapons to school are reporting tons of victimization”(Kamenetz 2). I don’t know what it’s like to be in that situation where bullying comes to play, I do however know the absolute fear of guns. When I was in elementary school around first or second grade there was an armed person on campus, back then I didn’t know what was going on i just remember was my teacher turning off all the lights and telling us to go hide in the corner. The amount of fear that was going through my head wondering what was going on and why we were all hiding in the corner, thankfully nobody was hurt in my situation and my mom came and picked me up from school instead of taking the bus. It scares me to think that kids could be in a situation like that and it doesn’t go as it did for me. That’s why I’m totally against having any guns at all on school ground, just thinking about what happened and how it could have happened sends chills down my spine. Hopefully we can all do
