Mass School Shooting the headline reads. There is a feeling of collective shock and disbelief. Parents vicariously see their worst nightmares right in front of their eyes. There is feelings of outrage, loss, unknown. The question is asked How can this never happen again, what can the authorities do to prevent this from ever happening again. The view of inadequate Gun Control always leads the way to solve the problem but most would say gun control is adequate and nothing could have stopped this event based on Gun control.

Gun-control is and issue where an individual 's either strongly support or oppose legislation on the issue. The issue of gun control as a result of recent events has come to the forefront of issues being debated on in society. The idea that is being expressed by those who support stronger gun control claim it will reduce violence in society. Unfortunately, there is an overwhelming flaw to the logic. There are many bumper stickers by second amendment supporters that say "guns don 't kill people, people kill people with guns" this very elementary saying is quite true and has a very complex meaning behind …show more content…
M-16, AR 15, Bush master. All examples of weapons under heavy debate whether they should be sold to the public or not. All three rifles are capable of fully automatic fire but do not have that option when sold in the private sector due to gun control laws. But they all are equipped with semi automatic firing which allows you to fire the gun at the rate at which your finger can pull the trigger. This small difference seems irrelevant when you think about it due to the nature of the reload time the guns were designed
