I am not a gun owner. While I do possess sufficient knowledge and experience in using firearms, people are usually surprised to hear that I do not own a single gun. This, I completely understand. Why comment on an issue when you have little to no part of it. This seems to be a recurring argument used by the “either with us or against us” crowd. Why? Because the leading officials that are in the media voicing their opinions on the subject often times have little to no knowledge on the subject matter. Legislators see the latest trend and try their best at getting ahead in an effort to secure their seats for future elections. I’m completely against those types of capitalism based politics. My argument on gun control is about raising awareness, supervision, and not to restrict or ban firearms simply because they are currently the easiest tool to kill someone with. A tool cannot be utilized unless the wielder wishes to do so.

Adhere to ensure the safety of legal gun owners as well as the rest of the people in our society. We need to come up with different gun control models to cater to different communities. We must understand that a universal utilitarian model is not going to address every issue that needs to be addressed. And we need to stop putting so much emphasis on blaming tools of violence when there are so many other important aspects to
