Introduction
Gun violence and gun control has been a thorny issue in the American society. Available facts relating to gun violence show that on average, 29 Americans are killed with guns daily and 160 are treated for gun injuries. On average, 55 people kill themselves with a firearm and homicide rates in America is twenty times higher than the combined rate of 23 other countries that are more developed (Brady campaign, 2015).
Homicide through guns is the second leading of cause of death after car incidents among young people of ages 1-19 years in America. With this shocking statistics, most Americans do not support the idea of Gun control (55% are against and 45 are in support). This paper will focus on the whole aspect of gun violence and gun control.
Cognitive or Thinking Domain
Revolves around knowledge and development of intellectual skills which entails recalling certain facts and procedural pattern (Wilson,2001, P. 33). The major processes involved in cognitive domain are information, understanding, discharge, scrutiny, compound and assess.
