I got up, and put another movie in, for me to watch. Not fall asleep. I threw away the empty gummy bear bag, and drank the rest of my water, also throwing that away. I sat down on the couch, watching Bambi, when I heard a noise in the kitchen. It sounded like someone was moving around. But I was the only one here. Right? “Kim?” I asked. I didn’t hear anything else. Not even the same sound I heard before. I let it go, and focused on the movie once again. There it went again. I got up this time, and went to get another water. When I went in, nothing was there. Nothing moved. No one was in there. I grabbed my water, and walked back to the living room, feeling someone staring me down. I sat back down, as the sound got louder. My heartbeat was beating faster and faster each time I heard it. Right as I thought it would run out and attack me, the door opened. I screamed, as I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. “Briana? What’s wrong?” I sighed of relief, noticing it was only Kim. “I heard something in the kitchen.” And that’s when it happened again, long and loud. “I-it’s nothing. Come on. Help with the groceries.” I decided to do the same thing, and walked out with her, hearing the same noise
