Gulliver’s Travels contains four books. The first book shows Lemuel Gulliver’s journey after he was separated from his crew when his boat was destroyed. He landed on Lilliput. This island was full of people who were only six inches tall. He passed out on the shore of the island once he landed, and he woke up to find himself tied down to the ground. The people were observing him trying to figure out what he was because they had never seen a man that big before. He had to work hard to get out of his prison, but was watched very closely. He became close to the King of the island, and soon became a huge asset when it came to fighting Lilliput’s neighbor Blefuscu. Gulliver was charged with treason after he used his urine to set out a fire in the queen's quarters and many others. He found a way to travel home and he was able to go back to England. In book two, Gulliver got bored with life back at home and decided to go out sailing again. His ship got caught in a Monsoon and he was sent in another direction. He ended up on Brobdingnag. This island was the opposite of Lilliput. It contained a civilization of giants. He was the one smaller than everyone else. He was used as entertainment for the citizens of the island. He had to sleep in the cradle for a child's doll. Since he was more focused on entertaining the people, he grew very thin. He was bought by
