When it comes to the piano it was born in 1709 in Italy by Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori. This instrument produced sound by strings being attached and stretched over bows, gourds and boxes to amplify the sound; they were fastened by ties, pegs and pins; and they were plucked, bowed or struck to produce a sound or multiple sounds. The violin was not officially brought out until sometime around the 16th and early 17th century; but there is uncertainty about who actually created/ invented such instrument. The violin contained 4 strings that were grazed with a bow to produce sound. This was a very popular instrument early on even before the workings of the piano life. The evolution of the violin today has transformed the violin into a hipper technological instrument. Present day they can be made to produce sound electronically by using amplifiers and microphones. With the additions just stated it eliminates the need for an actual sound box. All in all the adjustments are creating diversity for the violin’s capabilities; making it a well versatile instrument. The evolving of the violin is not stop right there it will keep evolving as technology keeps
