When a person has to sign a petition it is very difficult because you have to make a decision. The fictional novel, Lyddie by Katherine Paterson is about a young lady, Lyddie and she is really greedy and likes to do everything herself. Her mom needs money so she sends her to a Tavern to work, but she quits the Tavern job and starts working at a factory in lowell. While some people think Lyddie should sign the petition because she wouldn’t get paid as much, she shouldn’t sign the petition because Lyddie’s hours would drop and she wouldn’t get the money she needs for the farm.
Lyddie needs money for the farm, but signing the petition would drop her hour, so she wouldn’t get as much money. If Lyddie got behind with anything she wouldn’t get the
