Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace are some of the most famous Italian fashion houses that have resonate globally for its luxury goods throughout the last century. Their authenticity in products, differentiation in style, quality of luxury goods and expertise in the field has made them stand out in the fashion industry and led to serve as inspiration source to other designers internationally. For their first collection debut at Milan’s Fashion Week in 1985, they required the help of friends as models since they didn’t had the resources to hire them. The “models” wore personal items to compliment the clothing, and as the stage curtain they brought a bed sheet rom their home. Although their first collection wasn’t a success, they didn’t gave up and today Dolce & Gabbana is a successful company and one of the most influential fashion houses in the industry. In order to improve the business over the years, Dolce & Gabbana added knitwear, lingerie, beachwear, menswear line, and even fragrance to their collection. In the film industry, both Dolce & Gabbana appeared in the 1995 film The Star Maker (L'Uomo delle Stelle) by director Giuseppe Tornatore, playing minor roles as extras. They appeared in more significant cameo roles in Rob Marshall's film-adaptation of Nine. As stylists, they also worked on the music video Girl Panic! by Duran Duran.
