The country of Guatemala is located in what is known as Central America. The country’s formal name is the Republic of Guatemala. The nation’ capital is Guatemala City and the official language is Spanish. With a population of over 15 million people, Guatemala is the most populated country in Central America. It also happens to be the largest country in this region. The weather of Guatemala changes with the seasons. It is rainy from the months of May to October, and it is dry from November to around April. The largest farming products from this country include sugar, coffee, bananas, and corn. These items are very popular staples in the Guatemalan diet. An interesting fact is that many Guatemalans work in agriculture.1
