Growing up, there was never a need for me to compete or share. I grew up as an only child, so nothing was ever complicated. I was never annoyed by little siblings and I didn’t have to share my personal possessions. There was no need to fight for parent’s attention. Life was at its peak. However, as I matured, I came to a realization that there are more value to certain actions that I will never be able to compensate.
My parents gave me my desires and I was happy. Although, they were financially unstable, my needs were continuously fulfilled. Growing up I realized that my parents were having struggles with money, but I was incapable of helping and comprehending. I believed that the money would eventually appear out of thin air.
