Growing up my life was full of ups and downs. I remember when I was little. The rush of going to the doctor's office and getting check ups to see how my growth is going, if my weight was in the right direction. My favorite part of going to the doctor’s office was getting shots. I basically grew up wanting to be a nurse, the crave of making people who are sick; better. My sophomore year, I tore my meniscus and partial MCL playing soccer. When I went in to get surgery I remember the rush I got and the excitement on my face when I entered the hospital. Having all the machines, nurses and doctors around me, I thought to myself; that will be me one day. By the career I want to proceed in; Oakland’s the right choice for me.
