Growing up in a predominantly affluent part of Michigan, at times it is difficult to comprehend the hardships others must endure. With consistency and structure in my life, I had gone through much of my life without great disturbance. However, in the past year, the stability I once had crumbled. One of the most salient aspects of my life was taken from me, which was torturous, and depressing. However, the challenge I faced allowed me recognize just how imperfect my seemingly faultless life was. Although it is still ongoing problem in my life, the solutions I have unearthed from this challenge are lessons that will help me better prepare myself in the future.
