Growing Up In A Hispanic Family

Feeling left out is the worst, especially when it’s with family. As a child many get comments on how they look and how they resemble their parents with their physical appearance, but for me there was a whole different case. Growing up I would always receive comments about my appearance and how I appeared different compared to my family. The comments would always lead to them saying that I probably have another father or that I was adopted. The comments relating to my appearance were hurtful, but the thing that would mostly hurt was the fact that it would come from family members, friends and strangers.
