Growing up I was always taught by my parents, that giving someone a helping hand is a great to do. It should be something everyone should learn to do because when we least expect it, our loved ones might need a helping hand. Since we help does around you when they needed help, someone will give us a helping hand when we need it. So I use that way of thinking at all times and at all places. I always try to help as many people as I can and most times I offer the help without being asked. The reason I believe things work this way and that the idea of helping others actually works was because of what happened to me a while back. One day in the winter time as I was making my way back home from school, after soccer practice when I saw a little child that looked around the age of 7, short with long hair all on his face. He was alone crying and he seemed very terrified. I asked him if he was ok and his response was 'no I’m lost and I don’t know how to get home '. When he told me that I did not know what to do, but I remember panic hit me and fear started to grow inside me. I knew I had to relax so I could think clearly of what to in order to help him get back home somehow. So I decided to ask him a the most common question if he knew where he lived and to my disappointment he said he answer with a very sad attitude saying “no I do not “.
