Growing up in an abusive home is a real issue worldwide and is not discussed enough so not everyone is aware. Some people have never experienced Domestic violence in their home so they probably could not even fathom the idea of abusive events, abusive parents or surroundings.

Relationships can suffer whether it 's an intimate relationship, friendship, or family, because of past events trusting may be an issue. No matter how much time has passed, unresolved childhood traumas can wreak havoc on a person 's life and the lives of the people around him or her. This is especially true when it comes to romantic relationships because these, in particular, require a lot of trusts and intimacy (Berman 3). As far as an intimate relationship goes, stereotypically there will be some insecurity issues and fear of being hurt depending on what a person has experienced or witnessed. A relationship that can also be affected is the Parent-child relationship, it 's easy to say "let 's break the cycle of abuse" but not everyone can, breaking the cycle would mean coming to terms with your past, releasing all anger and bitterness. Anyone abusing a child has to be the most ignorant person in the world. Children are truly God 's gift to earth, why violate that?
