For most younger kids this thought is more of a dream do to the fact that they don't know a life with responsibilities and adversity that constantly attempts at taking you down but your suppose to not let that happen, but will I be able to get back up when I am shot down, will I be able to make a family and find a job that is well and stable to support a family and most of all will the world that's already out there accept what I have to offer? These things are what scare me about, going to college, figuring out what I plan to do with my life, thinking about how am I gonna pay this bill, that bill, my car payments, mortgage, all problems that come with growing up, that I know I am not ready for now and don't know if I will be. …show more content…

Michael Apted’s series teaches his audience that decisions that were made as youngsters can totally backfire once they start getting older. Apted’s documentaries are suggesting that decisions should be taken seriously because it can have severe consequences in the future. I think that when we are young, we mostly have dreams of becoming successful, but the mind hasn’t fully matured enough to think about the obstacles that have to happen. The hysterical thing about it is that there is no room for forgiveness when it comes to fear or even self-awareness. Fear has shaped me, and turned me into the man I am now; though it is not my decision to clarify what kind of man I am; that is for other people like my peers to decide. But yes, multiple times I have had fears. For example, this past year of our marching band season; at semi-state, everyone in our band feared that we were not going to make it to state. Even though, almost everyone within the program had confidence that we had an awesome show that day.…

I was afraid to sharpen a pencil in second grade. My most vivid elementary school memories spring from instances when I was being reprimanded by an adult for doing something wrong.
