Groups In The Military: Different Types Of Groups

From my time of being in the military I have been part of numerous types of groups and they all had different styles and approaches. The first group Network 5/6 which is base club for NCOs and within those meetings, I feel like it was two different group characteristics. One was problem solving and the other I would say was decision-making. When it came down to solving problem, they would use a procedure called eight step problem solving. Where we broke down the issue, found the root cause and sound a solution. The main type of role I see played out in the 5/6 group is the democratic role. I think know what your role in a group setting will help you in a situation like the 5/6 group.
