In Lord of the Flies, the guy was rough and mean to each other and did not care about what happened to the people. If it was all girls they would care about each other and would be nice to each other. The girl would probably not know what to do because they are going to only know how to look pretty. They would not know how to survive on an island. To survive on an island you would need to have clean water, food, and shelter. The girls would not know how to get clean water from the sea. They do not know to hunt for meat in the jungle. Fewer people would die because girls are more scared to get food than to kill each other like the other boys did to Simon and Piggy. They would be scared of the dead parachute so they would stay together. They would get supplies from the plane that crashed. They would build the house slower because they do not know how to build houses. They would most worry about how to get food the second thing they would worry about is how to get off the island they are on. usually don’t have large groups get together, they have one or two people over. They have more family values I think because they aren't trying to change themselves to fit in. Next is the unpopular …show more content…
They all act differently but I think there are the same dynamics. With everyone wanting to be apart of something, people do some weird things to achieve that. People who go outside of there groups to act differently according to where they go. Not everyone is perfect but I feel everyone can make an effort to be nicer to everyone. Question: 2 With all the kids on the island being boys I think that it did turn into being quite gruesome. I do feel if there were boys and girls it wouldn’t be that much different. I do think if it was just girls it would be different though. If there were just girls I don’t that they would physically be fighting, maybe stay on separate sides of the island and not talk to each other. Everyone acts differently so obviously it depends on who is there not necessarily their gender. I think everyone would do things in that situation they would think they would never do no matter what kind of person you

In the novel Lord of the Flies the most essential part is the setting is the island the boys arrive on. An example of why the island is the most important part is because it's where the boys will be for the whole story and it can be either a paradise or a destroyed eutopia. For instance, if girls had been on the island with the boys, would everyone undressed as they did? The general rule that you don’t show your naked body to others is especially true for the opposite genders, so it would not have happened as quickly- if at all. The moment where the boys take their clothes off is the beginning of the group reverting into animalistic tendencies. Without that point, it would take slightly longer for the group to begin their decline. Golding sets the entourage of boys on the path of cruelty to one another and savage behaviour.…

The Lord of the Flies contains a lot of mob mentality though the hunt and in their daily lives. For instance the first time a mob was created, all the kids ran up the mountain and collected wood to start a fire. By doing this they killed a kid who couldn’t climb the mountain. This shows that the kids didn’t care if everyone made it just to start the fire. Another example was when the kids were having a feast.…

True leadership is represented by standing up for the greater good of a group without selfishness and ignorance towards others. The story The Lord of The Flies by William Golding demonstrates a constant struggle for power and leadership between Jack, Piggy, and Ralph. The malicious actions that result draw out specific aspects of leadership from each boy. Apart from Jack and his aggressive attitude toward others or Piggy with the lack of respect he receives from the others, Ralph 's rational thinking is the trait, that as a leader, trumps the others and clearly shows how his endless efforts for the greater good of the boys make him the distinct leader.…
