Group Work In High School

During my time in high school there were many occasions I worked in groups with my fellow peers. I had two instances in which one went amazing and one went horribly wrong. The first being the one what went horribly wrong was a group project in my economics class during my senior year. I worked in a group of five and our task was to figure out how to survive on a random set budget that was provided by the teacher. During that time on the project I and one other member of the group were the only ones to contribute to the project. At the end of the project after me and my only contributive partner had finished the project the other three wanted me and her to credit them to the work. Other methods I could have used was instead of everyone doing everything I could have taken charge and broke the project into five separate parts. This would have most likely changed my team’s attitude towards the project as a whole and instead of thinking of it as one massive project it would have been five separate portions that could be easily tackled. This team also had another problem we were all different and sometimes this effects a team if someone thinks they are better because of race gender and so forth.
