Group Therapy In Today's Society

In today’s society, there are several types of support groups available. You have AA, NA, Weight Watchers to name a few, even certain types of gym activities could be considered group therapy. Meetings are usually informal in this kind of setting. People who attend will have a shared involvement to make the team successful.

I think all of us at some point would benefit from a group therapy/setting. Sometimes we are unable to find a resolution to what is happening. Group therapy can give someone coping techniques and could give someone the strength to deal with their problems. It can also teach interaction skills.
