Group Supervision: Mental Health Professionals

I believe the development of supervision is crucial; as a mental health professionals the culture of the working environment are often unpredictable and changes sporadically. When works become complicated or overwhelming, well developed and trained professionals will rise to the occasion, step outside their comfort zone and reach professional and personal potential. The group supervisor serves as a mentors and coaches the supervisees through a step by step process of designing goals, and create a plan of action for achieving that goal which makes goals positively oriented. According to Bernard and Goodyear (2013) explains group supervision assist in understanding multicultural dynamics relieves the supervisees anxiety and acts as the example
