Political Propaganda Group Analysis

Overall I believed that the group did a pretty good job presenting the information of Propaganda to the class. I believe that some areas could have been a lot better than others. For instance in the end the last guy presenting seem like he didn’t know anything about the topic and was just trying to make sure he did his part or just did something overall. At the same time I believe the group as a whole should have helped or done something to change that. I also believe there was too many videos, like some videos was needed to show or prove a point and some I believe was there just to waste time. Also testimonials which are by politician in order to promote themselves for positive propaganda. I believe also that some people in group was more active and more energetic than others. Which made the discussion in some since a dread to be a part of because when it transition to certain people they just be talking like I only up here cause I need this for a grade instead of really getting into the presentation and enjoying being up there. The group also did a great job by using ethos, pathos, and logos. The group used pathos in their presentation by using certain political propaganda that showed the politician using negative slander on other politicians. Using instances such as talking about how the other politician is trying to cut education and Medicare for the elderly which uses pathos to persuade us to feel that politician is bad and doesn’t deserve to be in office. The group also played Anti War songs which also used pathos in order to persuade audiences to not join and or fund the war that was going on during that time period.
