Once I read the chapter I prioritized the information by order of importance. Since I also enjoy thinking out of the box, I chose to do activities that were not in the book but would go a long with the material. Once I picked the activities, I pieced together the agenda of the group meeting to create a cohesive structure. Each member shared a few different stressors in their life, and I also shared my own. The meditation video finished loading and I have them all listen to that. After the video is over I give a briefing on why I chose the video and what I hoped people would gain from doing it. From there I find it appropriate to talk about what others do to manage their stress and everyone shares some thoughts on that. I then self-disclose a story from when I was younger and struggled with physical illness due to stress. I transition nicely into my new stress managing technique, zen tangling, which is also our next activity. The activity takes approximately 30 minutes. (A.
